Stakeholder consultation

The stakeholder meeting aimed to foster constructive dialogue on Indo-Pacific interpretations, promoting cohesion among frameworks. Sessions covered geopolitics, maritime security, human rights, climate change, development cooperation, and trade. It encouraged cross-regional exchanges to address shared challenges and share insights.

This stakeholder meeting was organized to encourage positive engagement on contentious interpretations of the Indo-Pacific construct and discuss the need for cohesion between new and existing frameworks. It facilitated cross-regional interactions to identify common challenges and share best practices. Hosted sessions on:

  • Geopolitics, Maritime Security and Regionalism in the Indo-Pacific
  • Human Rights, Democracy, Civil Society and Gender in the Indo-Pacific
  • Climate change and sustainable development
  • Development cooperation, Trade and Connectivity”
