The discussion explored India’s foreign and security policy perspectives—including China border dynamics, convergence with the United States, challenges in South Asia (Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan), and engagement in East Asia (Japan, Korea). It also examined India’s priorities in industrial policy, particularly in sectors such as semiconductors, electric vehicles, and critical minerals, along with its approach to development aid for connectivity, climate resilience, and digital infrastructure.
