Chiara Boldrini is a PhD candidate in Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna, and a visiting researcher at CSDR.

Chiara Boldrini is a PhD candidate in Political and Social Sciences at the University of
Bologna. Her research focuses on strategic culture, coercion and foreign policy, looking at
countries of Russia, Turkey and India. Previously, she has been a Fulbright Visiting PhD
Student at Boston College and Visiting Fellow at the Istanbul Policy Center. Before starting
her PhD, Chiara obtained a MSc in International Security and Law at the University of
Southern Denmark, and worked at the NATO Defense College, the Parliamentary Assembly
of the Mediterranean, and the International Institute for Counterterrorism.
