CSDR’s Geopolitics and Regionalism Program is committed to thoroughly understanding the impact of geopolitics on various aspects of non-traditional security in the South Asian and wider Indo-Pacific region. We conduct research with a focus on policy, develop practical tools and resources, facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogues, and engage in advocacy efforts based on research across a range of non-traditional security issues. Our program provides valuable insights and actionable policy recommendations that consider the geopolitical foundations of human and non-traditional security. The program delves into six core non traditional security themes: Climate security and diplomacy, transboundary environmental governance, peace, human security, development challenges, and regional cooperation.
